About Us Derby Volunteer Centre is a department of Derby CVS.  The Centre is based in the centre of the city of Derby and has an urban catchment area.  The Centre has the largest staff team of Volunteer Centres in the Network and is run by four paid staff and a large team of volunteer advisors. The Centre provides brokerage, gives advice about best practice to organisations, and is well known for its commitment to youth volunteering, due to its flourishing Millennium Volunteers programme. The Volunteer Centre offers the following: 1.     Developing volunteer opportunities 2.     Marketing volunteering 3.     Brokerage service 4.      Policy responses and campaigning 5.     Strategic development of volunteering 6.     Information and advice on volunteer management and good practice development We hold the Volunteering England Quality Accreditation and are currently working towards the Investors In Volunteering  (IIV) standard.
