Develop good practice We promote good practice with volunteers and volunteer-involving organisations. This includes such things as: encouraging organisations to carry out inductions, training and give regular supervision to volunteers; that organisations pay volunteers out of pocket expenses; that organisations have the correct insurance cover for volunteers, health and safety policies, and equal opportunities policies, etc.
