Volunteering Opportunity of the Week (24 February) - Royal National Institute for the Blind
The Royal National Institute for the Blind (RNIB) offers information, support and advice to over two million people with sight loss. It also supports research into the causes of and latest treatments for eye disease.

RNIB volunteers support blind and partially-sighted people all across the UK, enabling them to live independently and providing them with imaginative and practical solutions to everyday challenges. The charity has many different volunteering roles available which can be done from home, based at an RNIB office or out and about in the community. Fundraising is also vital to the charity, and they would be especially delighted to hear from anyone who would be prepared to give a couple of hours or more between 10.00am and 4.00pm on 8 or 9 March to help with a bucket collection at Tescos in Whitfield.

Contact the Volunteer Centre for more details.
