Registration of new Voluntary Organisations/Groups who want to be on our V-Base Database System
We offer new voluntary organisations and groups the chance to register their details with us on our database to match suitable volunteers for those opportunities.
- If you are a local Organisation/Group who would like to register with us you can download an Organisation Registration Form (PDF File) which you can print out, fill in your organisation's details and send back to Gosport Volunteer Centre.
Recruitment and Placing of Volunteers
Acting as a voluntary "employment" agency, advertising for, interviewing and selecting appropriate recruits for voluntary organisations. The interview process should be conducted as objectively as possible, by matching the candidate's skills, knowledge and experience against the task description provided by an organisation.
'Get On Board' Guide for Prospective Trustees
An informative new guide booklet targeting recruitment of trustees for voluntary, community and charity groups has been published by us in collaboration with Havant and Portsmouth Volunteer Centres.

Promotion of Best Practice for Organisations Managing Volunteers
Through the provision of a Voluntary Organisation Pack to be handed to every group for whom the Volunteer Centre seeks volunteers.
 The Befriending Service offers social contact for older people who have become isolated or are lonely.
