What do we do? Havant Volunteer Centre has a variety of roles: We give volunteers advice and guidance on volunteering and signpost them to local Charities and Community groups We promote and market volunteering locally We develop opportunities for volunteers We provide advice on good practice to statutory, voluntary and community organisations We are involved in policy response and campaigning and the strategic development of volunteering Our aims are to: Ensure that all individuals are given the opportunity to volunteer, regardless of age, gender, race, beliefs, sexual orientation, ability or disability (please see our link to the Supported Volunteering Project below) Promote, publicise and inform people about volunteering opportunities on behalf of local groups and support local groups on all issues around volunteering.
